Green Tara Statue 8.5"

A beautiful 8.5 inch, gold plated statue of Green Tara. Closely associated with Buddha Amitabha and Chenrezig, Green Tara is considered the mother of all Bodhisattvas-- in fact, she loves all sentient beings just as a mother would. According to Lama Tharchin, practicing Green Tara offers "protection from all of our fear and suffering, whether immediate or long-term." Yeshe Tsogyal was an emanation of Tara, and Tara is often considered to be the patron protector of Tibet. Of her twenty-one forms, Green is considered the main form of Tara and the source of all her manifestations. This statue can be opened for consecration. Height: 8.5" Please note:       Items over $200 need to have extra insurance as USPS and Shopify only automatically insure shipments up to $200. Extra insurance prices range from $.89 (for shipments up to $300 value) to $17 (for shipments that cost $2000). If you purchase an item that is over $200, you will receive an invoice for a shipping insurance fee. Again, these fees are generally very small- usually a dollar or two at most. In these situations, you can still change or cancel you order at that point if you would like to. We are always willing to help, however you need.        Shipping insurance only covers the item’s damage or loss while the shipping agent has possession of the item, i.e. pick up, transit, and delivery. Once the item has been delivered to the residence, damage and loss are not covered. If you feel that your residence is unsafe for porch delivery, you can ask us and we can  request a signature upon delivery. There will be a $3.70 charge from USPS for that service. Thank you for your understanding, and for supporting the Dharma.
