Monstera Peru | medium

bio] Plant Bio Monstera sp. Peru Also known as Monstera karstenianum, this South American Monstera species (member of the same family as scindapsus, pothos, and philodendron) shows off fantastically textured foliage. A tropical vine, it appreciates bright, indirect light and can climb vertically, grow horizontally, or trail dramatically from a basket. Unlike other Monstera species, its leaves do not develop fenestrations (dramatic cuts and holes) as it matures. Our Plant Hunter selected it for the dramatic impact of its leaves and its easy-care needs (you can treat it like a pothos or heartleaf philodendron). Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption. Find out more
