Green Drake-

Green Drake  If mayflies had a rockstar, the Green Drake would be it. Big, flashy, and impossible for trout to ignore, this pattern mimics the adult dun stage of one of the most celebrated hatches in the fly fishing world. Our Green Drake is tied with a bold green segmented body, upright wings, thick hackle, and a dark split tail—all designed to ride high in fast water and trigger explosive topwater eats. Fish it during a real hatch or use it as a high-floating attractor dry anytime big bugs are on the menu. Why big trout don’t hesitate: Bold green body and dark tail imitate the real Green Drake mayfly High-floating hackle lets it ride strong in choppy riffles Great during mid-to-late spring hatches or as a prospecting pattern Tied on a barbed hook for secure hooksets Large profile gets attention in fast or deep water Sizes available as variants Finatics Fly Company
