A tall, tidy maple that delivers cooling shade, strong structure, and a glowing golden fall color without taking over your space FEATURES: Narrow, upright form ideal for tighter planting areas Classic maple foliage with a rich, deep green summer canopy Excellent golden yellow fall color Strong branching and sturdy structure for long-term performance Great shade tree for streets, driveways, and smaller lawns Tough and adaptable once established Hand Selected, Fresh from the Grower Ships on our trucks because of the size of the tree; does not fit in a box Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip: Give this maple full sun for the best canopy density and the strongest fall color. Water regularly during establishment, then transition to deep watering during prolonged dry stretches. Add mulch in a wide ring around the base to protect roots and hold moisture, keeping mulch away from the trunk. Prune lightly while the tree is young to maintain a strong central leader and balanced branching. If your landscape needs a shade tree with a more streamlined profile, Green Column is a beautiful way to get the benefits of a maple without the sprawl.
