Even better? This plant tolerates almost any indoor condition. Plus, it's small enough to fit in tight spaces, from desks to tabletops and beyond, dressing up any indoor area with ease. Your Chinese Evergreen is delivered to your door with a healthy root system and a strong head start. Don't wait to get this exotic, easy-care plant - it's often hard to find at local nurseries and big-box stores. Order your Chinese Evergreen today! Planting & Care 1. Planting: Indirect light and a bit of dappled shade are best for your Chinese Evergreen. Place it in front of a bright window and keep it away from drafty areas. Also, ensure it gets some protection from the afternoon sun. When you're repotting or planting, get a container that's twice the width of the shipped container and one that has drainage holes. Use organic soil mix, place your Chinese Evergreen and water to settle the roots. 2. Watering: Use your finger to check the moisture in the soil. Don't water until you have a full inch of dryness from the top of the soil. The Chinese Evergreen does like some humidity, so you can mist your plant to encourage healthy growth.
