The Greatest Beginning and Ending, by Megan Tripaldi

Drama, poetry, chapbook, 28 pages, from Bottlecap Features. In the dark attic of the mind there is a box covered in dust. In it there may be the answer to the most urgent question: what is The Greatest Beginning and Ending? A Storyteller decides one day that the box must be opened and ventures into the dark. There they discover that within the box there are memories that haven’t been explored in a long time. The Greatest Beginning and Ending is a one-act play exploring memory and trying to reconnect to Childhood through poetic storytelling. Talking with Childhood itself, and recounting therapy sessions, the Storyteller remembers joy, pain, and strength wading through their memories. Megan Tripaldi (She/They) is an actor, internationally produced playwright, educator, poet, and mom living and working in Portland, ME. They graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a BA in Theatre in 2012 and received a Masters Degree in Playwriting from Goddard College in 2023.
