2011-2021 6.7 Powerstroke CP4 Bypass Kit

The CP4 high-pressure fuel pump is one of the most well-known failure points on the 6.7L Powerstroke. When a CP4 pump begins to fail, internal metal debris can be circulated throughout the high-pressure fuel system, often resulting in catastrophic damage to the injectors, fuel rails, lines, and other critical fuel system components. In many cases, a complete fuel system replacement is required. Our CP4 Disaster Prevention Bypass Kit is engineered to help minimize the spread of contamination by rerouting fuel flow, reducing the likelihood that debris generated during a CP4 failure will be distributed throughout the entire fuel system. After evaluating numerous CP4 bypass kits available on the market, our engineers identified several areas where reliability, installation, and overall design could be improved. Our goal was simple: develop a premium solution that is easy to install, dependable, and built to the highest standards. How a CP4 Bypass Kit Works The factory fuel system routes fuel into the CP4 pump, where it first passes through the pump housing before supplying the internal pumping elements. If the pump begins to fail, metal particles created inside the pump housing can be carried into the high-pressure fuel system, contaminating injectors and other expensive components. Contaminated fuel is also returned to the fuel tank, allowing debris to circulate throughout the entire fuel system. A properly engineered CP4 bypass system redirects this fuel flow, helping to isolate contamination and significantly reduce the potential for widespread fuel system damage should a pump failure occur.
