6.7 Cummins Grid Heater

When your 6.7L Cummins requires increased airflow to support higher power levels, reduced exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), and improved overall efficiency, the G&R Diesel Performance Grid Heater stands out as one of the most effective and practical first upgrades. Precision-engineered to deliver over 30% more airflow compared to the stock component, this billet intake plate helps unlock additional horsepower while promoting cooler, more efficient operation under load. Premium Construction & Materials CNC-machined from high-quality billet aluminum, this intake plate features robust construction and a professional finish that enhances both performance and engine bay aesthetics. A key differentiator from many aftermarket alternatives is the factory-style integration of fuel rail risers directly into the plate. This thoughtful design maintains proper fuel system geometry, simplifies installation, and ensures reliable long-term operation. Key Features & Benefits Significant Airflow Increase: Over 30% more airflow than stock, supporting greater power output, quicker spool, and reduced intake restrictions. Lower EGTs & Improved Efficiency: Enhanced breathing helps manage engine temperatures and optimize fuel delivery for better thermal efficiency and sustained performance. Factory-Like Integration: Built-in fuel rail risers replicate the OEM layout, eliminating common fitment and sealing issues found in competing designs. Complete Gasket Kit: Includes a new high-quality gasket set for a reliable, leak-free installation. Direct Replacement Fitment: Designed as a bolt-on upgrade for 2007.5–2012 Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins pickups. Important Installation Notes 2013+ Models: May require extension of the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor wiring harness. Cab & Chassis Applications: Not a direct fit; modifications may be necessary to accommodate the MAP sensor. Application: For pickups only unless custom provisions are made for cab/chassis configurations. Why Choose the G&R Diesel Performance Intake Plate? This upgrade reflects G&R Diesel’s focus on real-world performance solutions that address factory limitations without unnecessary complexity. By combining substantial airflow gains with factory-inspired engineering (such as the integrated fuel rail risers), it delivers measurable improvements in power, efficiency, and drivability while maintaining reliability and ease of installation. It serves as an excellent foundation for further intake, turbo, and tuning upgrades.
