Grater Nutmeg

HIC Kitchen's Stainless Steel Nutmeg Grater adds freshly ground nutmeg to any dish with a tastier flavor than using pre-ground packaged spices. The nutmeg seed's hardened exterior requires a sturdy grater to harvest its warm, exotic aroma and flavor. Ground nutmeg is most aromatic when prepared immediately before use. Grate the amount needed then store the seed, whole, in an airtight container to retain its flavor indefinitely. The sharp teeth of HIC's Nutmeg Grater easily rake and granulate the surface of the nutmeg seed. The flat end steadies easily against work surfaces and countertops, adding the necessary leverage for this vigorous grating task. Grate ingredients directly over food or set the narrow end in a pinch bowl or mug to collect the grated ingredients. Quickly grate nutmeg, and other spices and seasonings, for tastier baking recipes and comforting home cooking. Simply steady the grater's flat end on a work surface and scrape the nutmeg seed vigorously against the sharp teeth to rake flavor from the hardened surface. Made from stainless steel, HIC Kitchen's Nutmeg Grater is durable, will not rust, and compact for easy storage. Remove stuck-on food bits with a soft brush and hand wash.
