Grateful Dead Shashibo Cube | Dancing Bears

The Dancing Bears Shashibo brings one of the Dead’s most joyful motifs to life through endless motion and color. Each turn reveals a new perspective of the iconic Bears mid-dance — unfolding in geometric patterns that feel alive in your hands. Each cube contains 36 rare earth magnets, allowing it to fold, flip, and morph through more than 70 shapes. Combine multiple cubes to build connected sculptures or simply enjoy the meditative flow of one in motion. Invented by artist Andreas Hoenigschmid, Shashibo fuses design, geometry, and play into a tactile art form that invites exploration and creativity. The Dancing Bears edition channels the same free-spirited joy that’s kept the Dead dancing for generations. Check out the Shashibo Shape Guide for more inspiration!
