Grateful Dead Bertha

Every Grateful Dead show was different. Every one of them was also, somehow, the same show. Grateful Dead Bertha is built from original Dead pressings — the band's own recordings transformed into a tribute shaped entirely by their music. The records are the surface and the subject simultaneously. The way a Grateful Dead song is both a structure and an improvisation at once. What is the live music experience you measure everything else against? Size: 36″ × 48″ Materials: Original Grateful Dead vinyl records, hand carved with a wood burning tool Year: 2026
