Melt a tiny amount onto your fingertips and apply to your skin. Your balm should fully absorb after a few minutes. Key Ingredients Grass-Fed Tallow: Our star ingredient, grass-fed tallow, is celebrated for its incredible compatibility with your skin's own natural oils. This allows for exceptional absorption, helping to visibly smooth and condition your complexion. It's also naturally rich in beneficial fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K), which contribute to a radiant, healthy-looking glow. Organic Rosehip Oil: A source of antioxidants and essential fatty acids, rosehip oil contributes to a radiant and healthy-looking complexion. It helps moisturize and soften the skin, contributing to a more even-looking tone. Infused with: Organic Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Rich in antioxidants that help support the appearance of healthy skin. Adds a silkiness to the balm. Mango Butter: Contributes to a smooth, supple skin feel. Mango butter also stabilizes melting. Organic Jojoba Oil: Helps balance the feel of your skin and is rich in B complex vitamins, zinc, and copper. Organic Camellia Oil: Contributes to a plump and youthful appearance and is packed with fatty acids. Vitamin E Oil: Provides intense moisturization for distressed or dry skin and acts as a natural preservative. Why no honey?: Honey is wonderful however honey and tallow don’t mix in a beef tallow balm. The honey sinks to the bottom of the jar and creates a sticky mess when your product runs low. Our alternative to honey is Rose Hip Oil which offers many of the same benefits.  If you’re looking for a honey-infused tallow balm, check out our Whipped Balms. Benefits Deep Moisturization: Grass-fed tallow is an excellent emollient, helping to deeply hydrate and soften the skin. Its unique fatty acid profile is very similar to our skin's natural oils, allowing it to feel incredibly compatible and provide a smooth, non-greasy finish. Supports Skin's Natural Barrier: The combination of tallow's fatty acids and rosehip oil's essential fatty acids helps to reinforce the feel of the skin's natural moisture barrier, helping to keep skin hydrated and supple. Contributes to a Healthy-Looking Complexion: Both tallow and rosehip oil are a source of vitamins and antioxidants. This nutrient-rich blend contributes to a radiant and healthy-looking appearance. Enhances a Balanced Feel: Tallow's unique composition can help your skin feel more balanced and conditioned. It's a great choice for keeping skin hydrated without a heavy or occlusive feel. Softens the Appearance of the Skin: Rosehip oil is known for its ability to moisturize and condition the skin, which can contribute to a more even-looking tone and soften the appearance of skin texture. Low-Comedogenic Ingredients: Every ingredient in Free the Body’s poured is low or non-comedogenic, scoring no higher than a 2 on the comedogenic scale. The Small-Batch Difference: Every jar of our non whipped beef tallow balm is hand-crafted in small batches right here in Oregon. This meticulous process ensures peak freshness, potency, and consistent quality, bringing you an artisanal product you can trust.
