Grass Fed Goodness

'You are what you eat' is as true for animals as it is for humans. That's why the diet of the animal is so critical to the overall success of a cheese. 100% grass-fed animals produce high-quality, flavorful milk that in turn becomes extraordinary cheese. Taste the grass-fed goodness with this selection of grass fed cheeses highlighting the power of photosynthesis. Collection includes: Grayson -  a delicious washed rind cheese in a delicious square format from Meadow Creek Dairy in Galax, Virginia. An intense, beefy, and pungent cheese that reflects the goodness of the local Virginia mountain grass. Calderwood - a hay-coated raw cow’s milk cheese made exclusively for Saxelby Cheesemongers by our good friends at Jasper Hill Farm.  A firm, nutty, and complex Alpine-style cheese with hints of earth, caramel, chestnut honey, toasted bread and tropical fruit. Pleasant Ridge Reserve - one of the winningest cheeses in the history of the American Cheese Society, this Alpine-style cheese from Uplands Cheese Company in Dodgeville, Wisconsin sports a stately coffee-brown rind, and tastes of toasted nuts and caramel. Includes over 1lb of cheese and serves 8-10 people. Please note that if any product(s) are out of stock we will substitute with something similar and equally delicious!
