Grape Vitamin B12 Quick Melt

Bariatric Fusion Grape Vitamin B12 Quick Melt is a great-tasting and quick-dissolving formulation of vitamin B12 and folic acid. This synergistic blend provides comprehensive daily support for neurological health, red blood cell production, and healthy homocysteine levels.* Vitamin B12 absorption begins in the mouth but mainly occurs in the stomach and small intestine with the help of intrinsic factor, a protein that helps your body absorb B12. Weight loss surgery results in anatomical changes, such as a smaller stomach, reduced stomach acidity, and changes to the small intestine, that can lead to vitamin B12 malabsorption and decreased intrinsic factor secretion. Vitamin B12 Quick Melt is available in two delicious flavors: Cherry-Berry and Grape. With just 1 tablet daily, this formula delivers 1000 mcg of vitamin B12 (41,667% of the Daily Value) and 334 mcg DFE folate (200 mcg of folic acid - 84% of the Daily Value). Bariatric surgery can impact the body’s ability to absorb nutrients, so a high supplemental dose of vitamin B12 may be needed to maintain healthy levels.* This product contains a small amount of folic acid to help support vitamin B12 utilization. Folic acid and B12 are essential nutrients for many bodily functions, working together to help the body convert food into energy.* Bariatric Fusion’s bariatric multivitamins and supportive supplements are formulated by a team of bariatric practitioners to support nutrient absorption for those who have undergone ASMBS-endorsed procedures, including duodenal switch, SIPS, SADI-S, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass surgery, lap band, and intra-gastric balloon. *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
