Granite Curbing

We’re in Atlanta, home of Stone Mountain, the world’s largest granite pluton. Early Atlantans figured out how to quarry granite. So successful, so widespread, that the trains from Atlanta to Augusta cuts NE thru Stone Mountain (you needed a train to carry the weight, 165 lbs a cubic foot). Atlanta’s streets are full of granite curbing, and we warehouse it. Mostly lengths of four-five feet, we palletize shipments in batches of 3000 lbs. so your skid steer can handle it. Need a month’s notice to get as much as a tractor trailer flatbed load ready. $40 per linear foot, the new stuff is $90/foot,  so this is less than half. Ours is chipped, not sawn, Old School. At $40 a foot, that includes 100′ minimum, us loading your flatbed in Stockbridge, Georgia, roughly 5-8″ thick, 14″-16″ deep. Options can include palletizing, delivery, even specific lengths, even radius cuts, all with an upcharge. Note: 100 linear feet will weigh 9000 lbs, so you’ll need a dual axel trailer with twin 7500 lb axels, a rollback, or something suitable How to Reserve Inventory Items Our shopping cart system is for reserving inventory items only. You use our system like a shopping cart, as we will need your contact information. Reserving an item means that you wish us to reserve a particular item so another visitor cannot purchase until you complete your offline purchase. Payments Payments for purchased products are made in person typically after you visit our site and view the millstone you are interested in. You must set up an online account to reserve your purchase but no payment will be necessary to reserve your purchase.
