Long or curled wicks can cause uneven burning, high flames and black smoke. Use a sharp wick trimmer or scissors to trim wick. Untrimmed wick will cause it to “mushroom” excessively. Fragrance draws on memory and taps into a part of us we sometimes find difficult to access. Allow your candle to burn for at least two hours, until the whole top melts with wax.
