With a detection radius of ±8 feet, the BHG provides accurate and reliable results, making it ideal for bridge builders, utility companies, and the construction industry. The system consists of a control box with a rechargeable 12V battery, a 50′ sensor cable with Amphenol® connectors (custom lengths available), and a bull-nosed titanium sensor that functions similarly to a magnetic locator and can be used underwater. Features include LCD display with bar graph readout, audio pitch output, and RS-232 connectivity for data logging. With a 72-hour battery life and overnight recharge capability, the BHG is an essential solution for deep utility and infrastructure surveys.
