You are guaranteed to receive a reproduction M43; the rest is up to chance.    The M43 Field Jacket is an iconic piece of American military and casual wear. Adopted in 1943 as an improvement upon the M41 field jacket, the M43 was issued during the last years of WWII, the Korean War and into the mid-1950s. The M43 was adopted as a general issue jacket for all ground troops in the American Army and Marines. In later photos of the Second World War, it is common to see US Army soldiers, US Marines, Airborne and other forces wearing the M43. Constructed of a heavy nine-ounce cotton sateen fabric, these jackets are windproof and water-repellent.
