Grab & Pour Gai Wan

It’s finally here! For while we’ve been looking for a brewing vessel that embraces gong fu cha tradition, functional and yet does not have the learning curve of gai wan. And we found it! We commissioned this Grab & Pour Gai Wan from the white porcelain capital of China which requires no additional skills to use, just grab and pour! One of the frustrations we have heard over the years from our tea friends is that they want to use gai wan, but it’s not that easy. And one of the biggest challenges for learning to use gai wan is that it burns your fingers when you are pouring the teas out. And that often times has to do with managing the space and balance between the lid and the bowl. This Grab & Go Gai Wan however, fix exactly this pain point. There’s no more techniques for sliding open the lid, bridge it firmly on the bowl and pouring out only liquor without the leaves. You put the lid on, grab the gai wan and just pour. There are filters on the lid that automatically filters the leaves, voila, you don’t even need a strainer now to have clear liquor! If you’ve been wanting to have the satisfaction of using a gai wan to experience gong fu cha but was frustrated with handling the traditional vessel correctly, this is for you! Get it together with a couple of fairness pitchers (gong dao bei) and now you have both a green tea brewing set as well as a gong fu set!   Hey, you. We're committed to giving you the best stuff out there, and sometimes that means we find other cool people making awesome things. It's like we're the best matchmakers for your self-care routine. This product is from one of those super rad, small businesses that we’ve vetted and love. But since they're the experts, they'll be shipping it directly to you.
