Gothic Ruins Foldable Sci-Fi Terrain – Full Table Set

The ruins of a fallen gothic city Create an imposing science-fiction battlefield with the Gothic Ruins Foldable Sci-Fi Terrain Set. This complete full-table collection combines towering multi-level ruins, pointed arches, damaged stonework, ruined walls, and stackable containers to create the remains of an ancient cathedral district or besieged sacred city. The coordinated gothic architecture gives the battlefield a strong visual identity while providing the cover, verticality, and line-of-sight blocking expected from a modern 28mm or 32mm tabletop battlefield. Every terrain set arrives fully assembled and ready to deploy. Complete 24-piece full-table collection This is not a half-table package or a small scatter-terrain bundle. It is a coordinated 26-piece terrain collection designed to fill a complete science-fiction battlefield. Your set includes: 2 × Three-Story Gothic Ruin A 2 × Three-Story Gothic Ruin B 2 × Two-Story Gothic Ruin A 2 × Two-Story Gothic Ruin B 2 × Gothic Long-Line Ruin 2 × Gothic Tall Short-Line Ruin 2 × Gothic Low Short-Line Ruin 2 × Small L-Ruin A 2 × Small L-Ruin B 2 × Small L-Ruin C 2 × Small L-Ruin D Together, these pieces provide multiple terrain heights and footprints for creating protected objectives, obscured deployment zones, elevated firing positions, movement corridors, and contested gaps. Unfold. Deploy. Battle. Store. The Gothic Set’s articulated buildings unfold to create full-height terrain during play and collapse afterward for significantly more efficient storage. There are no terrain kits to assemble before your first game. Fellowship of the Print produces and assembles every structure before it is packaged. Simply: Unpack the terrain. Carefully unfold the structures. Arrange your battlefield. Play your game. Fold the buildings down for storage. The containers do not fold, but they can be stacked to create additional height and more flexible cover. This folding system makes the collection ideal for players, clubs, and event organizers who want substantial gothic terrain without permanently storing a table’s worth of full-height buildings. Gothic atmosphere across the entire table Pointed arches, ancient masonry, broken windows, decorative stonework, and battle-damaged structures give this collection the appearance of a once-magnificent city devastated by endless war. The terrain can represent: A ruined cathedral district A besieged sacred world An ancient futuristic city A fallen fortress A religious stronghold A war-torn urban district A forgotten administrative center A final defensive position The coordinated architecture allows the entire battlefield to feel like one connected location rather than a mixture of unrelated buildings. Built for tactical battles The Gothic Set provides multiple building heights and terrain sizes for shaping movement, visibility, positioning, and objective control. Multi-story ruins create elevated firing positions and substantial line-of-sight obstacles. Long ruins divide open areas and create protected movement corridors. Smaller walls and L-shaped ruins provide flexible cover around objectives. Stackable containers can be repositioned to create additional height or close exposed gaps. The collection works especially well for: Competitive science-fiction battles Casual games Narrative campaigns Gaming clubs Tournament-style tables Demonstration and event tables Siege missions Urban and cathedral battlefields Game compatibility The Gothic Ruins Foldable Terrain Set is scaled for 28mm and 32mm science-fiction miniature wargames. Its sizes, terrain variety, and overall battlefield coverage make it compatible with Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition-style terrain layouts. It can also be used with other compatible science-fiction wargames, narrative campaigns, club games, custom missions, and tournament-style layouts. This is an independently produced terrain collection. It is not an official Games Workshop product. Optional carrying and storage case The optional storage case is designed around Fabricator’s Lair’s folding terrain system. It keeps the collapsed 3D terrain organized and makes the collection easier to store and transport. Monocolor Storage Case — Add $60 Printed in one coordinated filament color for a clean and functional appearance. Full-Color Storage Case — Add $75 Printed using multiple coordinated filament colors to highlight the case’s details and provide a more complete presentation. The case is also available separately for customers who already own compatible Fabricator’s Lair folding terrain. Important: The storage case holds the folding 3D terrain pieces only. It is not designed to hold the optional footprint templates. If you purchase both add-ons, the templates must be stored and transported separately. Optional terrain footprint templates Add a complete set of matching full-table footprint templates to make setting up your battlefield faster and more consistent. The templates remain underneath the 3D terrain during play, clearly marking each terrain feature’s intended boundaries. If a building is temporarily moved, the original terrain area remains visible. The templates are useful for: Defining terrain boundaries Recreating established layouts Maintaining consistent placement Competitive and tournament-style games Standardizing gaming-club tables Speeding up setup between games Full-Table Footprint Templates — Add $25 The templates are an independent add-on and do not require purchasing a storage case. They are also available separately for customers who already own compatible Fabricator’s Lair folding terrain. Storage notice: The footprint templates do not fit inside the optional terrain storage case. They must be stored and transported separately. The templates are independent gaming accessories and are not official Games Workshop products. Materials and construction Each terrain set is produced using durable PLA filament. PLA provides detailed surfaces, structural rigidity, and a wide selection of colors for tabletop terrain. Small layer lines, seams, and minor surface variations are normal characteristics of additive manufacturing. These details do not affect gameplay or the intended folding function. As with most PLA products, the terrain should not be stored in excessive heat or left inside a hot vehicle for extended periods. Designed by Fabricator’s Lair The Gothic folding terrain collection was originally designed by Fabricator’s Lair. Each physical set is professionally printed, assembled, inspected, and sold by Fellowship of the Print under a commercial license from Fabricator’s Lair.
