Gotcha Hat

The Gotcha got its name the way the best flies do — a guide tied one on, a bonefish ate it, and somebody said "gotcha." Simple, flashy, and lethal on the flats, it's earned its place in more saltwater boxes than almost any pattern out there. Now it lives on the front of a hat built for the same water. Stitched in detail — the sparse wing, the segmented body, that pearl flash — the embroidery sits on a lightweight olive nylon shell that shrugs off spray and dries fast when the day gets wet. The rope brim brings the classic throwback look, the snapback keeps the fit dialed for anyone, and the whole thing packs flat in a boat bag without holding a crease. Built for the poling platform, the flats skiff, the truck bed, and everywhere in between.
