ROS Signature Golf Simulator Wall Padding

Description Specifications Shipping & Returns Why ROS Premium Faux Leather. Matte Black. Built for the Look. Tuned for the Sim. Rain or Shine Wall Panels are upholstered in matte black faux leather, designed to disappear into a high-end sim build instead of cluttering it. The matte finish absorbs ambient light and kills projector glare, giving you a deeper, sharper picture on screen. The faux leather wears like furniture-grade upholstery, not like the foam-and-vinyl panels common in budget sim kits. Stitched-In Adhesive Velcro Up in Minutes. Not Hours. Most premium sim wall panels mount with buttons, hooks, or clip systems that take 4 to 5 times longer to install. Ours have adhesive Velcro stitched directly into the back of every panel. Peel, stick, press. Each panel goes up in seconds. A full sim wall a normal home sim builder would budget a Saturday for now goes up in well under an hour. Repositioning is just as easy if you change your layout. Three Sizes. One System. Mix, Match, Frame the Bay. Three modular sizes (12" × 12", 20" × 20", 24" × 24") give you the flexibility to wrap any wall, fit around outlets and trim, and stagger the panel pattern for a designed-in look instead of a tiled-in one. Use the 24s as the workhorse, 20s to break up the rhythm, 12s to fill tight spots and corners. Every panel is 2" thick so the surface stays consistent across sizes. 2 Inches of Cushion Walls Catch Shots. Drywall Stays Drywall. A 2" cushion absorbs the energy of stray shots, ricochets, and clubhead nicks that would otherwise dent drywall, scratch paint, or punch holes in your bay walls. The dense foam core holds its shape after thousands of impacts, so the panels still look new years into ownership. Faux leather wipes clean with a damp cloth. No fading, no fraying, no carpet-style matting. Glare-Killing Matte Finish Better Picture. Sharper Shot. Light bouncing off shiny walls is the enemy of a clean sim picture. The matte black faux leather on these panels deflects projector glare and absorbs ambient room light, lifting contrast and making the screen feel deeper and more immersive. It's the same reason home theaters paint their walls dark. We just made it modular, removable, and ready for a clubhead nick. Designing a Full Build? Free Design Consultation What Are Rain or Shine Wall Panels? Rain or Shine Wall Panels are 2" upholstered acoustic and impact panels designed for golf simulator rooms. The face is matte black faux leather, the core is a dense impact-absorbing foam, and the back is finished with stitched-in adhesive Velcro for a peel-and-stick install. Three modular sizes (12x12, 20x20, 24x24) give you flexibility to wrap any wall, frame your impact screen, and finish a bay that looks like a high-end home theater rather than a garage with foam glued to the walls. Why Choose These Over Competitor Panels? Most sim wall panels in this category use button-and-hook or clip-style mounts that take 4 to 5 times longer to install. Some are upholstered in vinyl that reads as plastic up close. Others are colorful enough that they fight your screen for visual attention. Our panels are intentionally restrained: matte black, faux leather, fast to install, easy to reposition, and built to disappear into a premium sim aesthetic. They protect drywall, absorb light, and finish the room. Frequently Asked Questions How fast is the install compared to other wall panels? The stitched-in Velcro backing is the difference. Competitor systems with button mounts, hook strips, or clip rails typically take 4 to 5 times longer per panel. With ours you peel, stick, and press. A full sim wall that would be a Saturday project goes up in well under an hour. Can I reposition or remove panels later? Yes. The Velcro hook half stays on the wall, the loop half is sewn into the panel. Pull a panel off, move it, press it back. The adhesive on the wall side is high-bond but designed to come off cleanly with a heat gun or careful peel if you ever rebuild the room. What surfaces can the panels stick to? Painted drywall, primed concrete, smooth wood paneling, and most painted/sealed surfaces. Avoid raw masonry, textured stucco, and unprimed surfaces that can shed grit. Clean and dry the surface before installing. How many panels do I need to cover my walls? Measure the wall area you want to cover, then plan a mix of the three sizes (12x12, 20x20, 24x24) to fit your layout. Most full sim walls run 40 to 80 panels depending on bay size and how much vertical coverage you want. Our team can spec the layout if you send room dimensions. Send us your dimensions → Do the panels protect drywall from clubhead nicks and stray shots? Yes. The 2" foam cushion absorbs ricochets, mishit shots, and clubhead contact that would otherwise dent drywall or scratch paint. The faux leather face holds up to repeated impacts and wipes clean with a damp cloth. Will the matte black actually help my projector picture? Yes. Reflective walls bounce projector light back at the screen and wash out contrast. The matte black faux leather absorbs ambient and bounced light, which lifts perceived contrast and makes the simulator picture feel deeper and more immersive — the same reason home theaters paint their walls dark. Are other colors available? The standard product is matte black faux leather, chosen specifically for the light-absorbing and image-quality benefits in a sim room. Custom color or material is available on full custom sim builds. Talk to our design team → Are these the same as acoustic panels? The dense foam core does dampen impact noise and reduces the room echo you'd otherwise get in a closed bay, but these are designed first as protective and aesthetic panels for sim rooms. If you need professional studio-grade sound treatment, pair them with dedicated acoustic panels.
