Goldie Art Print

Goldie is a vibrant floral illustration named after Goldie Chu, an activist, organizer, mother of five, and trailblazer in the feminist movement of the 1960s and 70s. She spent her life fighting for what too many systems still refuse to offer: equity, recognition, and dignity. This piece is bold and unapologetic, just like she was. A bright presence growing in every direction, full of strength, color, and movement. Its layered petals and reaching stems reflect the kind of woman who does not wait for change. She builds it, plants it, and grows it herself. Goldie once said, “I may be traditional in manners but not traditional in fighting for change in the community where there is so much to do.” And there is still so much to do. Women’s rights are under constant attack. AAPI voices continue to be pushed to the margins. School boards are once again battlegrounds for erasure. Goldie is a reminder that resistance is not just in the past. It lives right here, in the women who continue to carry the fight forward. Printed on archival-quality paper with rich, lasting inks, Goldie is a celebration of legacy, resistance, and the beauty of growing wild.
