Obsidian

Psychic Protection, Grounding, Negative Energy Cleansing Element: Earth / Chakras: Root (1st) Hardness: 5 - 5.5 Obsidian is a powerful volcanic glass known for its protective and truth-revealing properties. It acts as a mirror for the soul, uncovering hidden truths and releasing blockages that no longer serve. On an emotional level, obsidian provides strong grounding and shields against negativity. It helps process deep emotions and clears stagnant energy, supporting transformation and emotional strength. For the Aztecs, this stone was sacred, as they believed it was created by Coatlicue, Mother Earth, to form the Moon and stars. It was also used for divination.
