Golden Dragonfly Roses

Sold by stem. Color: Yellow *** Golden Dragonfly is our colour sport of Dragon Fly: the same very full, wide-opening garden-style bloom, grown in gold instead of coral. The heart is a deep golden yellow that pales through the layers to cream at the outer petals, with a soft reddish blush brushed along the outer edges that warms as the flower ages. With 75 to 80 petals the face opens far wider and flatter than a hybrid tea, so one stem covers the space of three. Golden Dragonfly Rose Technical Specs Bud Size 5.7 - 6.5cm Stem Length 40 - 80cm Vase Life 14 - 16 days Petals 75 - 80 Colour Yellow Golden Dragonfly Roses — Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat colour is Golden Dragonfly? Golden yellow at the heart, fading to cream through the outer layers, with a soft red blush on the outer petal edges. Under warm reception lighting it reads closer to champagne and honey than to a bright yellow. Is it the same rose as Dragon Fly? It is our colour sport of Dragon Fly: the same heavy petal count and wide cupped form, in yellow rather than coral. How many petals does it have? 75 to 80, one of the highest counts we ship. That is what gives the full, ruffled, garden-rose face once it opens, and it is why the bloom needs warmth and room to open. How long does it last? 14 to 16 days in the vase. Cut the stems on arrival, strip anything below the waterline and give them several hours in clean water with flower food before you design. Our rose care guide sets out the routine. What is it used for? Autumn and champagne wedding palettes, garden-style centrepieces and any design that wants warmth without the brightness of a true yellow. Order it two to three days before the event so the bowls open fully. How do I order Golden Dragonfly roses wholesale? By the stem, bunched in 25s, in quarter boxes of 100 or 125 stems and half boxes of 250 or 300. Cut to order and shipped direct from our Ecuadorian farms by UPS or FedEx in 3 to 5 business days, with shipping charged per box at checkout: $34 a quarter box, $47 a half box.
