Golda Midye Baklava 12.35 Oz (350 Gr)

Midye Baklava — named for its distinctive mussel shell shape — is one of the most prized and labor-intensive varieties of Gaziantep baklava. It is not something you find everywhere, and when you do find it made properly, it is immediately clear why it commands a higher price than standard baklava.   What sets Midye apart is what is inside. In addition to premium Gaziantep pistachios, each piece is filled with kaymak — a rich, silky Turkish clotted cream made from full-fat milk. The kaymak melts into the pistachio filling, creating a texture and flavor that is richer, creamier, and more complex than any other baklava variety. The filo pastry is folded and shaped by hand into its signature shell form, which requires considerably more skill and time than diamond-cut baklava.   Made by Golda in Gaziantep since 1936. Each piece is a small work of craftsmanship — rich, elegant, and completely unlike anything you will find in a regular bakery.   Ready to eat — no heating required. For best results, allow to come to room temperature before serving. If you prefer it slightly warm, place in a low oven or pan for 2 to 3 minutes only. Do not use a microwave — it will affect the texture of both the pastry and the kaymak filling.   Size: 12.35 oz (350 gr) | Brand: Golda | Origin: Gaziantep, Turkey | Since 1936   ✅ Halal Certified — All Golda products at QualitaMart are 100% halal.   Perfect for: Special occasions, gifting, and anyone who wants to experience the pinnacle of Gaziantep baklava craftsmanship.   Available at QualitaMart, Cherry Hill NJ — and online at qualitamart.com with nationwide shipping across the USA.
