California’s Highway 1 has breathtaking views “every corner you turn,” says husband-wife photography team Wesley and Emma Teague. Their statement is backed up with proof: This stunning photo taken at a spot they happened to stumble upon along the iconic highway.  Somewhere between Carmel and Big Sur, close to Garrapata State Park, the duo fell in love with this particular place and kept coming back to it again and again. The unique rocks and the crashing foamy waves mesmerized them, so they pulled over and memorialized golden hour one winter day. Their affection for the location is visible in the shot—the greens, blues and oranges all blend seamlessly together to create a dazzling image that makes us feel as if we’re experiencing it with them. It’s easy to see why the spot was so special. A true hidden gem is hard to beat.
