Gold Fish Folding Knife with Engraved Brass Fish Handle

This handmade Damascus steel folding knife is a refined example of functional craftsmanship, created for collectors, everyday carry users, and outdoor enthusiasts. Featuring a fully engraved solid brass fish-style handle paired with a razor-sharp Damascus steel blade, this knife combines durability, balance, and distinctive visual character. Open this Damascus folding knife and the fish-shaped brass handle fills your hand before the blade clears the pivot. The engraved fish scales run edge to edge across the solid brass body, each one cut by hand. The Damascus pattern shifts from dark to silver as you angle the blade, and it arrives sharpened and ready to carry. The Blade The blade is forged from Damascus steel, which forms its distinctive wood-grain pattern during the layering and folding process. No two blades display the same pattern. The blade surface carries deep engraved detailing in the traditional style. Damascus steel sharpens cleanly on a whetstone or ceramic rod and holds a working edge through everyday tasks. A sharper edge means less force per cut, and less force means better control. The Handle The handle is solid brass, shaped from tail to mouth in the form of a fish. Hand-engraved scales cover the full surface. The texture gives traction in a bare hand without biting into the palm. In a gloved hand, the weight and contour of the brass make it easy to locate and grip without looking down. Brass warms quickly to body temperature, so it never feels cold on a cool morning. The Build The blade folds and locks with one controlled motion. The locking mechanism holds without play when the blade is open. The balance point sits near the pivot, which keeps the knife feeling light in a pocket but stable during close-cutting work. The folding design protects the edge between uses and keeps the profile flat enough to carry in a front jeans pocket. The Sheath A brown leather sheath with decorative stitching ships with every knife. It fits the closed knife snugly and works for carrying in a bag, a bedside drawer, or on open display. Real-World Use of the Goldfish Folding Knife  This knife handles everyday tasks cleanly: breaking down boxes, trimming cordage, slicing food at camp. The fish-shaped brass handle and Damascus blade are as likely to start a conversation as they are to do work. Collectors who actually carry will value the locking blade and the fact that no two pieces are identical. Hand-forging produces an edge geometry that stamped, machine-ground blades cannot replicate. The JW Difference Every knife is hand-forged and individually finished by the craftspeople at JW SteelCrafts. No two pieces are identical. Each piece ships in 5 to 10 days from the USA, and the leather sheath is included at no extra cost.
