Gold Cube 3 Stack Deluxe

3 Stack Deluxe by Gold Cube Choosing Between the Gold Cube 3-Stack Deluxe and 4-Stack When deciding between the Gold Cube 3-Stack Deluxe and the 4-Stack, there are several important factors to consider. The most common considerations are price, footprint size, and the type of gold you expect to recover. Many prospectors who use traditional sluice boxes have noticed that very flat gold—often called "glitter gold"—has a tendency to drift or sail over the riffles. Its flat shape allows it to be influenced by water currents and surface tension, sometimes causing it to float rather than settle. The Gold Cube addresses this issue with its built-in G-Force Separator. This innovative design forces all material beneath the water surface and under a gate, effectively eliminating surface tension. The combination of gravity and hydraulic pressure drives heavier particles, including gold, to the bottom of an axial trough, making it virtually impossible for gold to float or sail away. To better understand this concept, imagine dropping a flat washer and a steel ball bearing of equal weight into a swimming pool. The ball bearing will reach the bottom first because its shape creates less resistance. The same principle applies to gold: the flatter the gold, the longer it takes to settle. Many placer deposits located close to the source contain gold that is chunky, rounded, and less flattened. If you primarily prospect in these types of areas, a 3-Stack Gold Cube may be all you need. Should your needs change in the future, an additional tray can easily be added. If you plan to work beaches, old tailings piles, or areas known for extremely fine and flat gold, the 4-Stack Gold Cube provides additional recovery time and may be the better choice. While geographic location can offer clues about the type of gold present, the most important factor is always the shape of the gold itself—not necessarily where it is found. One of the greatest advantages of the Gold Cube system is its flexibility. As your prospecting needs evolve, you can easily expand your setup by adding another tray, a trommel, or a Gold Banker, allowing your equipment to grow with your operation.
