Gobo Root Oil

Gobo root, also known as burdock root, is an extremely versatile and medicinal plant that provides many benefits to the body. Gobo is a well known blood purifier and liver detoxifier that helps strengthen the lymphatic system while helping to regulate blood sugar levels in the body. It can be used topically to nourish and heal the skin, and to support arthritic type conditions over time. Gobo has been shown to be incredibly supportive to the skin, helping to balance acne, eczema, and psoriasis when used topically. Used orally, gobo is blood cleansing and internally cooling. Our gobo root and seed is infused in wild black sesame seed oil that is stone ground in small batches to limit any unnecessary oxidation and to preserve the vibrancy and flavor of the natural seed oil. Gome, also known as black sesame seed, is a very nutritious oil used for centuries in herbal medicine and for culinary purposes. In fact, it is one of the oldest known oil seed crops mentioned in texts going back 4,000 years. This black variety of wild sesame is especially great for the kidney system and for nourishing the hair and hormones. This wild gome is loaded with a wide spectrum of phytonutrients that help to balance hormones, increase metabolism for fat burning, boost nutrient absorption of foods, protect heart health, and protect the body. These oils combined make for a delicious culinary oil that can be used for sautéing, drizzling onto food or salads, used topically for anti-aging skin support, or taken by the spoonful for liver and blood support. You simply must taste this oil to appreciate the complex flavor. Amount Per Bottle: 16oz Gobo Root Oil does not require refrigeration. Keep in a cool dry place, like a pantry or cabinet.
