Lavender Mega Goat Milk Soap

Commonly used in aromatherapy, Lavender exudes a floral and sweet scent that is revered for its calming effects. As an adaptogen, Lavender naturally relaxes the nervous system, making it the perfect companion for your wind-down ritual before bed or any time you need a moment of peace and clarity. Characterized by the delicate purple hue of its flowers, Lavender may seem airy and light, but the plant is actually complex and resilient — which reminds us of our gentle, but effective Goat Milk Soaps. What is a "Naked" Goat Milk Soap? It is a discounted soap that is not packaged or labeled in any way... No paper wrapping. No cotton bags. No tissue paper. And no stickers or labels whatsoever. Just goat milk soap. In fact, the only way to identify the soap is by its scent and color. Since a lot of the soaps are the same or similar colors and the scents often co-mingle during shipping, if identifying the soaps is important, please order our bagged soaps. Once you've already tried a soap variety and love it, it may be time to explore the Mega soaps. These Mega Goat Milk Soaps are the largest size we make and as such, they are the best value. Mega soaps are only available "naked" (because they are often too big to fit in the cotton bag easily) and should not be used for gift-giving. French Scientist René Gattefossé was severely burned in a laboratory explosion. A fellow scientist was nearby with what he thought was a vat of water so he plunged his arm into the vat. The vat actually contained a mixture containing Lavender. Within moments, the burning decreased. With continual applications, the burn healed completely - without a trace of a scar. Much of the information we have on Lavender Oil is credited to further studies done by René Gattefossé. Many sunburn relief products contain Lavender because of its benefits. Lavender Oil comforts burns and speeds the healing process. Lavender has both antiseptic and antifungal properties. Lavender Essential Oil may help alleviate acne, psoriasis, skin inflammations, and even wrinkles. It can be a safe and pleasant way to keep pesky mosquitoes away. Some people have even used Lavender Essential Oil in the treatment of head lice and nits. Lavender Oil isn't just good for your skin. Steam therapy with Lavender Essential Oil can relieve chest and sinus congestion. Lavender Essential Oil molecules are hydrophobic (water-repelling). They can, therefore, loosen mucus and congestion. Lavender Oil also provides antiseptic relief. So as it penetrates into your system, it helps fight the bacteria causing the congestion. Does goat milk soap really work? Why is Lavender Oil Calming? Lavender is known to be very calming and relaxing. This is because lavender is an adaptogen. That means it contains a 'normalizing effect'. Lavender Oil can counteract disturbances brought about by stressors. As such, it is a useful tool. It may naturally help with difficulty sleeping, anxiety, stress, and nervous tension. Lavender can also help relieve emotional stress and even mild cases of depression. The relaxing components of Lavender Oil are known to possibly ease tension headaches. This is a condition common to many. Lavender Essential Oil Goat Milk Soap Benefits We’ve maximized the goodness of our goat milk soap by adding essential oils. Lavender Essential Oil comes from the pretty purple flower tops of lavender plants. These lavender flowers are usually harvested around June. They are compacted into a still and then steam distilled. The hot steam breaks open the lavender flower pockets and the oil separates. This process naturally produces pure Lavender Essential Oil. Goat milk soap is creamy, rich, and filled with wholesome ingredients that replenish and protect your skin, maintaining its natural biome. With added essential oils, each bar is especially fragrant and nourishing. Our essential oil bar soap comes in a variety of scents, but all are free of harmful chemicals that damage and irritate the skin. This soap is a natural alternative to detergent-heavy synthetic soaps that dry out your skin and throw off its true balance. Essential oils add a spa-like feel that complements the power of the vitamins, alpha-hydroxy acids, and minerals that naturally occur in goat milk bar soap. How to Use Lavender Goat Milk Soap To use our goat milk soap, get the soap wet and lather directly into your hands, or on a soft washcloth. The rich, creamy lather will leave your skin clean but not stripped, and after use, you may find that you don’t need to use lotion thanks to our deeply nourishing formula. Feel free to use this natural soap anywhere including face, hands, and body, though do avoid getting the soap directly in your eyes. For those starting with incredibly sensitive skin, we suggest trying the travel size bar to make sure the soap does not irritate your skin.
