Goal Power ~ Subliminal

Goal Power — It’s been said that setting a goal is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.  It’s also been argued that failing to set a goal is like setting out to sea and allowing the winds and current to take you wherever.  Mark Victor Hansen believes that our ambitions, or lack thereof, define who we are. In his words, “You control your future, your destiny. What you think about comes about. By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be. Put your future in good hands - your own.”  Goal setting is the first step toward success. Goal setting is the first step toward success. Setting goals is something we should do for our entire life. There is never a time in life that we should be without a goal. Think about what your goals are in life now. Do you still dream of great success or have you settled into wherever you are with an attitude of begrudged acceptance? Now imagine what you would like and where you’d like to be? Whether it’s something like stop smoking or losing weight, or something akin to building your own business empire, getting there is not accomplished without a plan. Setting goals involves making a plan. Breaking those goals down to simple steps such that we end up with many goals on our way to the larger goal. Successful people will tell you that realizing a goal is all about your mind set. You must be prepared to invest in your goal with your energy, but you must get that energy from your mental commitment.  If you wear down mentally—you’ll typically abandon your goal.  When it comes to the mental edge, InnerTalk is here and ready to facilitate your ambition.
