Make sure elbows are facing upwards. Locate the rope located in the center of the tent.  As you pull up, start locking the hinges into place by applying pressure above and below each hinge Then, do the same for the bottom hinges. Ground-secure flaps can provide additional security when you are using the tent on a solid surface. To Take Down: Make sure the door is zipped closed. Move to a bottom hinge that is easiest to reach.  To release the hinge, press in on the pole, pull the collar down, and release the hinge.  Repeat for the remaining hinges, including all four top hinges. When the last hinge is unlocked, make sure the top of the tent is pushed down into the center.  Pull the legs up so they look like a spider.  Collect the legs and wrap the excess tent around the poles to place it into the storage bag.
