New GLX Casting Rods

Built for experienced hands, G. Loomis designs tools for anglers demanding performance with purpose. For those who believe innovation is the only path to excellence. Steeped in experience gained from handcrafting rods in the United States for over four decades, the revamped GLX BASS series represents tangible proof of our disciplined philosophy of "continuous refinement." With structural upgrades achieved through a proprietary blend of high-modulus graphite and advanced resin technologies, the GLX BASS series features rod blanks with boosted strength-to-weight ratios, heightened balance, and pumped sensitivity. Rolled on "stepped mandrels" machined with micro-tapers at specific points within the overall taper, G. Loomis engineers isolate and reinforce areas likely to fail under load to provide maximum durability. In addition to industry-leading break strength, this design innovation also aids in tuning unique flex patterns for technique-specific actions, including the 11 found only in the GLX BASS lineup. All GLX BASS models come equipped with a full tangle-free Fuji K SiC guide train to improve line management and reduce overall weight. Premium cork handles complement custom CI4+ reel seats designed to amplify an angler’s connection to the blank for enhanced bite transmission and all-day comfort. A nod to the early days of G. Loomis, the GLX BASS series boasts a "modern throwback" aesthetic, exemplifying elegance in simplicity. Designed and rolled entirely in our facility in Woodland, Washington, GLX BASS embodies our relentless drive to forge the tournament-ready tools required for anglers to be the best at what they do.  802C JWR  6'8"  Medium  X-Fast  10-14lb  1/8-3/8oz  803C JWR  6'8"  Med Heavy  X-Fast  12-16lb  3/16-5/8oz  852C JWR  7'1"  Medium  X-Fast  10-14lb  1/8-3/8oz  853C JWR  7'1"  Med Heavy  X-Fast  12-16lb  3/16-5/8oz  854C JWR  7'1"  Heavy  Fast  14-20lb  5/16-3/4oz  855C JWR  7'1"  X-Heavy  Fast  17-25lb  1/4-1oz  893C JWR  7'5"  Med Heavy  X-Fast  12-16lb  3/16-5/8oz  894C JWR  7'5"  Heavy  Fast  14-20lb  5/16-3/4oz  895C JWR  7'5"  X-Heavy  Fast  17-25lb  1/4-1oz  803C MBR  6'8"  Med Heavy  Fast  10-17lb  1/4-3/4oz  842C MBR  7'0"  Medium  Fast  8-14lb  1/4-5/8oz  843C MBR  7'0"  Med Heavy  Fast  10-17lb  1/4-3/4oz  844C MBR  7'0"  Heavy  Fast  12-20lb  1/4-1oz  902C MBR  7'6"  Medium  Fast  8-14lb  1/4-5/8oz  903C MBR  7'6"  Med Heavy  Fast  10-17lb  1/4-3/4oz  904C MBR  7'6"  Heavy  Fast  12-20lb  1/4-1oz  894C FPR  7'5"  Heavy  Fast  17-25lb  1/4-1oz  895C FPR  7'5"  X-Heavy  Fast  20-25lb  3/8-1.25oz  954C FPR  7'11"  Heavy  Fast  17-25lb  1/4-1oz  873C BJR  7'3"  Med Heavy  Fast  12-16lb  3/16-5/8oz  874C CRR  7'3"  Heavy  Fast  14-20lb  5/16-3/4oz  875C CRR  7'3"  X-Heavy  Fast  17-25lb  3/8-1.5oz  822C JBR  6'10"  Medium  Mod-Fast  8-15lb  1/4-3/4oz
