Glutamine

Glutamine Capsules A key amino acid that supports the production of glutathione*  Amazing support for the gastrointestinal tract*  Post-exercise recovery and glycogen reloading*  Product Benefits Why Glutamine? L-glutamine is a key amino acid which supports muscle and gastrointestinal tract health while promoting superior intestinal mucosa health.* Research has shown that glutamine supports the preservation of muscle mass so it may be helpful in post-exercise recovery.* This critical amino acid is also necessary for the production of glutathione, a key liver nutrient and antioxidant which prevents damage to important cellular components such as free radicals, peroxides, and heavy metals.*  Optimal Immune Health Glutamine is a building block of protein and is a key amino acid with many functions in the body.* Adequate amounts of protein are needed to support the immune system and to transport substances in the blood.* In addition, glutamine is a critical component of the immune system. White blood cells and certain intestinal cells use glutamine as fuel.* However, when the body is injured or burned, blood levels of glutamine can decrease, compromising the immune system while the body breaks down protein stores (muscle) to release more amino acids.*  Incredible Intestinal Health The intestines are also supported by healthy glutamine levels. Glutamine serves as a critical source of energy for intestinal cells, which help to maintain the barrier between the intestines and the rest of the body.* This barrier prevents bacteria or toxins from leaking from the intestines into the rest of the body.*  Most importantly, glutamine is one of the few amino acids which can effectively cross the blood-brain barrier.* This amino acid plays a critical role in biological functions, especially during stressful states such as post-exercise, muscle recovery, and glycogen reloading.*  Quantum Quality Guarantee Quantum Nutrition Labs is proud to offer a high-quality nutritional product line to meet all the needs of you and your family.
