This lotion is called a "shielding lotion" because it forms an invisible, breathable barrier, protecting and hydrating skin by locking in natural moisture. Regular moisturizers add temporary moisture but can reduce natural oil production, worsening dryness. This lotion restores and maintains your skins own natural barrier and provides long-lasting protection.
