Globe Trotter Dark Roast

Globe Trotter Dark Roast from Good Folks Coffee is a masterfully crafted blend that celebrates what a dark roast should be: rich without being bitter, bold without burning away nuance. Good Folks sources beans from multiple origins—each selected for its ability to withstand the extended roast time while developing deep, satisfying flavors. The result is a cup that delivers dark chocolate richness and toasted nut complexity with every sip. Tasting NotesExpect waves of bittersweet dark chocolate on the front of the palate, followed by roasted almond and hazelnut undertones. The body is full and syrupy, coating your mouth with velvety texture. Acidity is low and mellow, making this an exceptionally smooth coffee that never turns sharp or astringent. The finish lingers with subtle molasses sweetness and a hint of toasted caramel, inviting you back for another cup. Brew MethodsGlobe Trotter shines brightest as espresso, where its full body and chocolate notes create a luxurious shot with beautiful crema. It's equally impressive in French press, where the immersion brewing highlights its syrupy mouthfeel and nutty complexity. If you prefer drip or pour-over, use a slightly coarser grind and expect a bold, straightforward cup that stands up beautifully to milk. This roast is robust enough to cut through cream and sugar, making it ideal for traditional café drinks or a simple morning mug. About the RoasterGood Folks Coffee approaches dark roasting as a craft, not a shortcut. Their careful sourcing and precise roast profiles ensure you get depth and character, not just charcoal.
