Global Majority Blind Date With A Book - Basic

Looking to fall in love with a book you might never have picked for yourself? Our Global Majority Blind Date with a Book is a curated reading experience designed to center and celebrate authors from the Global Majority, including Black, Indigenous, Asian, Latinx, Middle Eastern, and other racially marginalized communities worldwide. Each book is intentionally chosen and carefully wrapped to keep the title a surprise, encouraging readers to engage with the story without preconceived notions. By removing the cover and author name, this experience invites curiosity, openness, and trust in the power of storytelling beyond algorithms and bestseller lists. Perfect for adventurous readers, intentional gifting, or anyone looking to diversify their reading while supporting underrepresented authors. Take the leap, your next favorite book might be one you wouldn’t have chosen on your own. Whether you’re hoping to diversify your bookshelf, challenge your usual reading habits, or gift something meaningful, this blind date is more than a mystery; it’s an act of support, discovery, and connection. Great for any and every special occasion, or just because I was thinking of you! Not sure what genre to select, take our What Should I Read Next Quiz... ✨All books are brand new! ✨ You will only get Book 1 of a series! ✨ Reading and rating are subjective, so a high rating is not the best indicator of why a book is selected for your Global Majority Blind Date With A Book! ✨ To help ensure you don’t receive a book you’ve already read, please include a link to your book tracking profile in the personalization field (make sure your profile is set to public). I’ll review your reading history before making a selection. You’re also welcome to note any triggers or authors you’d like me to avoid. ✨ Preferences will be honored whenever possible, but specific book requests aren’t available. If your book tracking profile can’t be accessed, a blind pick based on your selected genre will be sent. Any listed triggers will be respected to the best of my ability.
