Glide™ 40 wt. Polyester Embroidery & Quilting Thread - Lilac (Color #42665)

Bring brilliant color and beautifully smooth stitching to your next project with Glide™ Thread. Manufactured by Fil-Tec, Glide has earned a loyal following among quilters and machine embroiderers thanks to its exceptional sheen, vibrant colors, and impressively low-lint performance. Best For: Machine embroidery Machine quilting Decorative stitching Appliqué Made from trilobal polyester, Glide's unique three-sided fiber shape reflects light more effectively than traditional round fibers. The result is rich, vibrant color with a beautiful, silky sheen that makes embroidery and decorative stitching stand out. Another feature sewists love is Glide's low-lint construction. As thread passes through your machine, tiny fibers naturally shed and can accumulate around the bobbin area and tension system. Glide is engineered to produce significantly less lint than many traditional threads, helping keep your machine cleaner during long sewing sessions. Fil-Tec refers to this as a Mini Spool, but don't let the name fool you. Each slim-profile spool contains an impressive 1,000 meters (approximately 1,093 yards) of thread, offering outstanding value while taking up less storage space than larger cone-style spools.
