Sand if necessary to smooth rough patches. Using a rag, brush, damp sponge, or spatula, apply a thin, even coat of Finishing Glaze. Let the glaze absorb into the surface for 12–24 hours. Wipe off any excess glaze after it’s absorbed. Apply additional coats as needed. Typically, 1–2 coats will suffice for most surfaces. Full curing takes approximately 30–60 days, depending on the thickness of the glaze applied. Hints & Tips For a smooth, professional finish, we recommend a cross-hatch method when applying with a brush. If the glaze is too thick, thin it with RMP Pine Solvent or Half & Half.
