Glass Teardrop Jar

Inspired by 19th-century French confectioners, this elegant glass jar features a rounded base and a graceful teardrop finial — a silhouette historically used to present sweets and delicacies on shop counters throughout France. Traditionally filled with dragées, sugar pearls, pastilles, and candied fruits, jars of this form celebrated abundance while helping preserve freshness. The narrow neck and fitted lid protect contents, while the clear glass allows the beauty of what’s inside to become part of the display — just as it once did in Parisian confiseries. Both functional and decorative, this piece brings old-world charm and artisanal craftsmanship to modern kitchens and entertaining spaces. Equally suited for everyday use or special occasions, it’s a timeless vessel that elevates simple indulgences and invites a sense of history into the home.  Perfect for... * Candies and confections * Sugar cubes or loose sugar * Nuts, dried fruit, or petits fours * Holiday sweets or countertop treats
