Saturday and Sunday. July 4th and 5th. Falls County Fairgrounds, Marlin, Texas. All Girl Prison Rodeo. Locked Up Ladies With Nothing Left To Lose. This actually happened. From the 1930s through the 1980s, the Goree Unit in Marlin, Texas hosted one of the most wild and celebrated rodeo events in the country — all female inmates, all real competition, and a crowd that came from everywhere to watch women who had absolutely nothing left to prove do exactly that. This vintage poster reproduction puts a genuine piece of rodeo history on a soft white tee. It wasn't a stunt. It was a rodeo. And it was unforgettable.
