Authentic Ginger Syrup

This isn't supermarket ginger ale flavoring. We brew our Authentic Ginger Syrup from mountains of whole organic Peruvian ginger root and add Japanese chilies for a finish that actually has some bite to it — the kind of slow, warming heat that makes you feel like you're drinking something on purpose. It's the ginger syrup behind every great Moscow Mule, Dark and Stormy, or Whiskey Ginger you'd want to make at home. Stir an ounce into vodka and lime, top with sparkling water, and you've got a mule that doesn't taste like the watered-down version at the airport bar. It's also the easiest way to make ginger ale without buying any: just 1 oz syrup to 6 oz sparkling water. Tasting Notes: bright ginger root, warming chili heat, peppery finish, real-fruit depth The Short Version: A focused, intense ginger syrup made from whole organic Peruvian ginger root and Japanese chilies — the cocktail backbone for Moscow Mules, Dark & Stormies, and homemade ginger ale. Ingredients: Filtered water, organic ginger juice, organic cane sugar, Japanese chilies, organic ginger concentrate, citric acid. Perfect For: Moscow Mule loyalists, Dark and Stormy drinkers, home bartenders, anyone disappointed by store-bought ginger ale, and ginger fans who want real heat. A: Our syrups are shelf-stable for 24 months unopened. Once opened, refrigerate and enjoy within 6 months. Q: How spicy is the Authentic Ginger Syrup? A: It has real ginger heat — noticeable, warming, and a little chili-driven — but it's not aggressive. Most people find it has the bite of a quality bottled ginger beer, just more concentrated. If you want noticeably more heat, our Spicy Ginger Syrup turns the dial up; if you want pure ginger flavor without much bite, this is the lighter end of our ginger spectrum. Q: What's the difference between Authentic Ginger and Spicy Ginger? A: Authentic Ginger leads with bright, fresh ginger flavor and a moderate chili-driven heat — it's the version you want for Moscow Mules, ginger ale, and most cocktails where ginger should be present but not overpowering. Spicy Ginger pushes the heat further with more Japanese chili, so it's the right pick if you want a noticeable kick. Same brewing process, same ginger base, different finish.
