Ginger Organic, 1080 mg

A member of the same plant family as cardamom and turmeric, Ginger contains bioactive phenolic compounds such as gingerol and shogaol which are believed to contribute to the antioxidant properties that may help support cardiovascular health. Historically, the most common use of ginger has been to help provide nutritive support for soothing the digestive system. However, Ginger is now also thought to help support joint health by modulation of calcium levels and inhibiting Cox-2 enzymes, which may affect prostaglandin release. Lastly, research suggests that ginger may help provide support for comfort during women's' menstrual cycles. Solaray Organic Ginger Root is vegan and does not contain any artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or excipients. Like all Solaray products, Organic Ginger Root Capsules are lab verified for potency, purity, and identity.
