Gilded Painterly Tree Round Platter

A 12.25-inch round ceramic platter painted with a single evergreen, brushed with gold and finished with a fine gold-tone rim. It's the centerpiece of Boston International's Gilded Painterly Tree collection, with art by Petra Kern. The tree is drawn loosely, more watercolor than Christmas card, so it looks right from Thanksgiving to the last snow. Put the cookies on it, or the cheese, or the roast, and leave it on a plate stand when it isn't working. It's dishwasher safe, which hosts appreciate at midnight.
