ShengShou Gigaminx V3

The ShengShou Gigaminx V3 is a 5x5 megaminx built on 396 independent modules and a 35 mm face — a smaller footprint than most gigaminxes, so your fingers travel less on every turn. With a tunable core and a locked-down center architecture, it's set up for high-order speedsolving without the sprawl of a full-size dodecahedron puzzle. Why you'll like it Compact 35 mm face: The reduced size shortens the distance your fingers have to reach on each turn, which keeps a big 12-face puzzle manageable in the hand. Stable under fast turning: A twelve-hole one-piece axis system and clip-in center caps keep the structure locked together so it resists popping and coming apart mid-solve. Tuned for higher-order solvers: Everything from the fault-tolerant rounded corners to the widened shell is aimed at cubers stepping up to a 5x5 megaminx and wanting it to actually cooperate. Tuning & control Screw-adjustable axis distance: Turn the screws to set tension looser or tighter and dial in the feel you want by hand. Quick-open cover design: Access the core through a quick-open cap instead of a full hard disassembly, so adjustments are fast and low-risk. DIY feel: Elasticity and axis distance are yours to set, so the same puzzle can run tight and stable or loose and fast. Performance & design highlights 396-module build: The whole puzzle is assembled from 396 independent small modules that clip and nest into one another for a stable, complete structure. Precision clip-fit assembly: Symmetrical clip joints seat smoothly, so pieces lock into position cleanly. Clip-in center caps: Each center cap seats into the fixed center block and grips the side and corner center pieces, locking the center region so fast twisting is less likely to shake it loose. Hollowed internals: Many internal components use a hollowed-out design to cut weight and keep the puzzle comfortable in longer sessions. Fault-tolerant rounded corners & widened shell: Built-in forgiveness on the corners and a wider outer shell help the layers realign instead of catching. Stickerless finish: Classic bright color scheme molded into the plastic — no stickers to peel, smooth to the touch, and made to hold up over time.
