Gift Set: Collection Noire

Mini (3.5 oz) or Full-size set of 4 candles: No. 0 Midnight Amber | Black Sea “Just bury me in the ocean with my ancestors that jumped from the ships because they knew death was better than bondage." -- Killmonger, Black Panther. This scent is dark, rich, and deep with notes of dark amber, vanilla, clove, vetiver, and coastal waters.  Zero is both closed and wide open (influencing and minding one's own “family” business), spiritually zero is the starting point from which other numbers are created, zero is symbolic of eternity, evolution, and infinity. This candle was inspired by the richness of our history and the depth of our reach.   No. 7 Santal | Mimosa | Shea … And on the 7th day she washed. Lol. Whether you’re natural or relaxed “wash day” has likely been a thing since you were a little girl and even though I change my hair up almost weekly one thing remains the same, on Sundays I wash. Hair is such a huge part of the Black of the experience and so, became the inspiration for this warmly scented candle. Infused with notes of coconut, amyris, mimosa flower - also called “touch-me-not” which I learned of on my return home to Ghana, was used to an alarm system that warned of slave hunters since the plant closes when it comes into contact with humans or objects— earthy woods, and creamy shea.   No. 13 Palo Santo | Sage | Sea Salt Peoples of the African Diaspora have a long history of using sage and palo santo in medicinal and ceremonial tradition. These two botanicals are most widely known to clear the negative energy in a space and recharge it with positivity through smudging, yet the comforting scents alone provide a sense of healing, purification, and grounding. Blended with sea salt which contributes crisp, airy, and clean ozonic notes; the smell of that moment just before a naturally cleansing rain. Spiritually the no. 13 is divine and symbolic of renewal and motivation.   no. 619 Cannabis | Rose | Frankincense This fragrance is dynamic, one of a kind, and necessary!
