Bloom does not have this issue. More Features and Benefits of G.I. Bloom Colonizes GI tract Creates disease barrier from metabolites Reduces pathogens (salmonella/e-coli; unfavorable metabolic pH , Candidae albicans; altered development) Mediates immune response (humoral/mucosal) Proven to reduce microbial, viral, and chemical induced diarrhea Proven to increase resident microbial mass in response to the nutrient substrate (all resident organisms work in concert to respond to the changing nutrient substrate, manufactured organisms such as L. reuteri lose that flexibility.) Antibiotic resistant...........helps maintain GI homeostasis in the face of antibiotic treatment. (unlike L. reuteri)The organism Lactobacillus reuteri is ubiquitous in the mammalian population with each L.reuteri organism unique to individual species.
