Ghosthouse (1987)

When a radio enthusiast and his girlfriend pick up strange transmissions emanating from an abandoned mansion, their curiosity draws them into a horrifying trap. Joined by a group of carefree campers already trespassing on the grounds, they soon discover the haunting visions of a spectral child clutching a creepy clown doll, an apparition whose eerie presence signals unspeakable evil. As night falls, the group finds themselves ensnared by a supernatural force that stalks them relentlessly, delivering death in twisted and grotesque forms. The malevolent spirit and her nightmarish clown doll turn the mansion into a house of horrors, and as the terrified trespassers struggle to escape, they begin to wonder if survival is even possible. Directed by the notorious Umberto Lenzi (Cannibal Ferox, Nightmare City), Ghosthouse combines the grisly shocks of 1980s slasher cinema with atmospheric Italian supernatural terror. Filled with inventive gore, spine-chilling visuals, and Lenzi’s unmistakable flair for shock, this cult horror film has earned its place among fans of Euro-horror cinema. Prepare for a delightfully macabre journey into terror, and beware the laughter of the clown. 95 minutes STANDARD FORMAT English audio soundtrack DVD is NTSC format, Region 0 (region free) playable world wide Also known as: La casa 3 Directed by Umberto Lenzi Starring: Lara Wendel, Greg Scott, Mary Sellers, Ron Houck, Martin Jay, Kate Silver, Donald O'Brien
