GEWO Celexxis Offensive Classic Offensive all-wood foundation Provides a traditional ball feel, stable contact, and reliable feedback for developing confident attacking strokes. Elaxxon eFT 45 — Backhand Versatile attacking rubber Offers a balanced response for controlled topspin, blocks, flicks, service returns, and quick backhand exchanges. Key Performance Benefits Powerful Forehand Attacks The Elaxxon eFT 50 gives the forehand side a firm and direct character. Its harder sponge is well suited to players who actively engage the rubber with full, committed strokes. The forehand setup is ideal for: Opening loops against backspin. Powerful forehand drives. Counter-topspin from close to mid-distance. Attacking high balls and weaker returns. Applying pressure through speed, spin, and placement. Finishing points after creating an opening. The combination of the eFT 50 and the offensive blade rewards good timing and active acceleration, making it a strong choice for players who want a dependable attacking weapon on the forehand. Versatile Backhand Performance The Elaxxon eFT 45 on the backhand creates a more balanced and manageable side. Its medium-firm character is suitable for players who want to attack with the backhand while retaining control during transitional strokes. It supports: Controlled backhand topspin. Opening attacks against backspin. Quick counters close to the table. Backhand flicks and short-ball attacks. Stable blocking and redirection. Reliable service returns and rally control. Compared with the firmer EFT 50, the eFT 45 can feel more forgiving during compact strokes and passive contact, helping the player maintain consistency in fast exchanges. Classic Feel With Modern Offensive Potential The GEWO Celexxis Offensive Classic provides a traditional all-wood foundation for this rubber pairing. The blade’s classic construction complements the distinct sponge hardnesses, giving the racket a clear and purposeful balance: Forehand: Maximum acceleration and finishing power. Backhand: Balanced speed, control, and attacking versatility. Blade: Natural feedback, stability, and a familiar wood feel. This makes the combo suitable for players who appreciate the response of an offensive all-wood blade but still want modern rubber performance on both sides. Component Deep-Dive The Blade: GEWO Celexxis Offensive Classic The GEWO Celexxis Offensive Classic is an offensive all-wood blade designed for players who value a traditional playing sensation combined with the speed required for modern attacking table tennis. Its all-wood construction provides useful feedback during contact, helping players judge the ball more effectively during serves, pushes, opening loops, blocks, and counter-attacks. The blade also offers a stable platform for powerful forehand strokes without losing the direct feel associated with classic offensive wood blades. Best suited for: Offensive players who prefer all-wood blades. Loop-drivers who value feedback and ball feel. Close-to-the-table and mid-distance attackers. Players developing a consistent topspin game. Those who want a balanced foundation for different rubber hardnesses. The Forehand Rubber: Elaxxon eFT 50 Elaxxon eFT 50 is the firmer and more powerful rubber in this combination. It is intended for players who generate their own speed through active technique and want a stable response during forceful forehand strokes. Best suited for: Powerful forehand loops. Opening attacks with heavy engagement. Counter-topspin and high-speed rallies. Direct drives and placement attacks. Players with a confident, developed forehand technique. The firm feel gives the forehand a solid response on harder contact, particularly when the player accelerates through the ball rather than relying on passive rebound. The Backhand Rubber: Elaxxon eFT 45 Elaxxon eFT 45 provides a slightly softer and more versatile alternative for the backhand. It is well matched to modern backhand play, where compact strokes, quick transitions, and controlled pressure are essential. Best suited for: Backhand opening loops. Compact topspin and counter-topspin. Flicks over the table. Fast blocks and punch shots. Service returns and transitional play. Players who want offensive capability without an overly demanding backhand setup. The eFT 45 helps create a smoother transition between control play and active backhand attack. Who Is This Combo For? This setup is ideal for: Modern offensive players who want a powerful forehand and versatile backhand. Loop-drivers who prefer a classic all-wood blade feel. Players who attack from close to mid-distance. Intermediate to advanced players seeking different performance characteristics on each side. Players who generate their own power and prefer a firm forehand rubber. Athletes developing a balanced topspin game with strong counter-attacking potential. Players who want classic blade feedback with modern rubber performance. Recommended Playing Style Use the Elaxxon eFT 45 backhand for controlled openings, quick counters, flicks, blocks, and pressure during the early stages of the rally. When a higher-quality attacking opportunity appears, transition to the Elaxxon eFT 50 forehand to apply greater speed, spin, and finishing power. This combination works especially well for players who alternate between close-table pressure and mid-distance counter-topspin. The classic all-wood blade feel provides useful feedback for touch play and serve receive, while the two rubber hardnesses create a clear distinction between the versatile backhand and the more forceful forehand. Recommended configuration: Elaxxon eFT 50 on the forehand and Elaxxon eFT 45 on the backhand create a balanced offensive setup with a firm, powerful forehand and a more adaptable backhand.
